Mysterious Object Confirmed To Be From Another Solar System

According to mainstream media, astronomers are now positive that an unidentified object detected to be blazing through the solar system at a very unusual speed is from another solar system. It is a dark red, highly elongated rocky or metallic object.

Not only that, but they claim it might be just one of 10,000 more objects in a similiar category: things that move so fast through our solar system, their entire transit through it takes about a decade.

It has been named 1I/2017 U1(’Oumuamua).

They claim it is certainly from another star because of their analysis showing its orbit is basically impossible to achieve from inside our solar system alone.

It is officially the first space rock to have provable interstellar origin. According to the Guardian:

“The latest analyses with ground-based telescopes show that ’Oumuamua is quite similar to some comets and asteroids in our own solar system. This is important because it suggests that planetary compositions like ours could be typical across the galaxy.

It is thought to be an extremely dark object, absorbing 96% of the light that falls on its surface, and it is red. This colour is the hallmark of organic (carbon-based) molecules. Organic molecules are the building blocks of the biological molecules that allow life to function.”

A narrative is emerging around the discovery, about extra-terrestrial life. It is apparently widely believed in the scientific community that the collision of comets and asteroids made life on Earth possible, by delivering organic molecules that assembled on our planet.

Another group of astronomers led by a man based out of University of California Los Angeles, David Jewett, made the estimation that 10,000 more similiar interstellar, fast moving objects could lie within the orbit of Neptune, closer to the Sun than expected.
