Student’s Petrifying 9/11 Footage from her Dorm is Going Viral Again
It has been 16 years since 9/11 today. It’s an odd number: 15 was a more memorable milestone, and now the wars of aggression fought in the aftermath of 9/11 grow more and more detached from their original reasoning.
Today, a video went viral as it seems to annually: New York University student Caroline Dries’ petrifying footage of the second plane hitting the WTC towers.
Not far from the scene on the 32nd floor of 200 Water Street in New York, Driers and her roommate Megan awoke to the booming explosion from the first tower.
The video’s mood was fairly calm, with a slight air of confusion before the plane hit the second tower, at which time the two panicked and rushed out of the room.
